| Virtualisation is the heart of our solution and with is we are able to reduce our energy costs and consumption by 80% compare with physical hosting infrastructures. Most servers and desktops today are in use only 8-15% of the time they are powered on, yet most x86 hardware consumes 60-90% of the normal workload power even when idle. Our platform has advanced resource and memory management features that enable to host up to 32 virtual servers on a physical vastly reducing our energy requirement.
Once virtualized, a new feature of our platform means we can automatically and intelligently powers off unneeded physical servers without impacting applications and users. Hosting just one server on our platform could have reduce the impact on the environment through an Energy Saving per year or 6619(kWh), this is equivalent planting 20 trees, taking 2 cars off the road, and reducing your carbon footprint by 8867lbs per year.* Tradition replication services work by having a complete replica environment of your live servers and replicating data between the two. This is not only very costly on hardware but extremely costly on the environment.
